Steeton Hub Defibrillator

The Defibrillator located at the Steeton Hub has been reported to the Operational Centre online as out of service because the heater in the cabinet has stopped working and the equipment is too cold to operate. In the meantime there is an alternative set of equipment at Eastburn Post Office and we are trying to get an electrician in to get the heater working again as soon as possible. Will update as... Local residents have been asking where have the benches have gone at Chapel Road Rec?

Great news - Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council recently voted to remove the dilapidated benches and to replace them with four new ones once proper bases for them have been installed. Watch this space.

Remembrance Day Preparations

Remembrance Day Preparations

With Remembrance Sunday almost upon us, Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council are well ahead with preparations at the War Memorial Gardens. The Memorial and paths around it have been professionally cleaned and are really looking great. The mounted illuminated poppy has been installed on one of the lamp posts outside the garden.
